transmission shop valdosta scholarshipLowndes CountyTransmisssions is a locally owned and operated Transmission Repair Facility in Valdosta GA. Owned by Mike Haynes, we consider ourselves a true part of the community and are very fortunate to have been in business for the last 40+ years. Our technicians are highly trained and we understand the value of a quality education in today’s business landscape.  Because we do value education we are excited to give back in the form of an annual scholarship to help students achieve their dreams and potential.  Some of those students will go on to become entrepreneurs themselves and start small businesses that will impact their communities in many positive ways.  Other students will become outstanding employees of small businesses like ours, and they will help to shape the reputation and the success of those businesses.  Both the entrepreneurs and the employees are needed as our economy goes forward and continues to grow.  We wish all students much luck and success in their endeavors to achieve their education and ultimately their careers.
